Together we can house a person in need!
OUR HOUSES
What We Do
At the House of Peace, we are dedicated to assisting our residents toward a stable, sober, and transformed life. Our research shows that one of the major reasons for homelessness is lack of affordable housing. We believe by providing housing for less than two hours of minimum wage per night with no long term lease commitments, we can make it affordable for individuals with financial hardship. This affordability allows the residents to focus on stabilizing the challenges in their life (such as sobriety, unemployment, or lack of proper documentation or identifications, etc.).
Our amenities such as kitchen, dining, living and restrooms as well as outdoor recreational facilities, and providing both shared and private living quarters, all contribute to the building of a community of transformed living through cooperation and encouragement.
